Our mission

Pack Away Hunger (PAH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to fight hunger through nutritious meals and service opportunities.

Public Packing Events

In every community there are individuals and groups that lead the way in serving others. Whether you’re part of a small civic group, or a leader looking to engage your whole community, our public meal packs are a powerful way make a real difference for those fighting hunger. Our events are appropriate for all ages and abilities, enabling groups of diverse size and ages to serve alongside one another. General Cleaning

Our office and warehouse occasionally requires general cleaning.

Equipment Sanitizing

After an event, we have to sanitize cups, spoons, funnels, trays, etc. This is a three tub process and the equipment then air dries. Our busiest sanitizing day is usually Monday. Depending on how much equipment, the time commitment for this is about 2 hours. We recommend 2 people for this job, but 1 can do it. This would be a HUGE help to us!

About us

Pack Away Hunger works with churches, schools, businesses, and civic groups to package a highly nutritious meal that is then shipped overseas and to local food pantries. Each year, through community partnerships and meal packing events, we educate more than 5,000 people about the toll hunger takes on individuals and communities. Meal packing events are a powerful and hands-on way for organizations and individuals to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Appropriate for all ages and all abilities, our events allow diverse groups to serve together, build camaraderie and promote team building.
