Our mission	Our mission is to empower communities and persons affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Indiana by being a leading resource, provider, and advocate for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, and related services.

Opportunities	Client Move-In Team This will be planned out as much as it can be, but sometimes the teams might be notified week of. Please be able to lift 15 lbs. Opportunities This could include administration and clerical work, cleaning storage/other areas, or contacting clients for tickets/events. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays Food Pantry Volunteering Organizing donations Organizing food bags to give out to food pantry eligible clients Unloading the van Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Groups (2-10), Families Physical, Indoor On-site Weekdays Building a Future A series of free classes designed to teach essential life skills and include a wide range of topics from goal setting and legal rights to housing resources and nutrition. About us	Founded in 1987, Damien Center is Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves more than 4,000 individuals affected and infected by HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention. As the largest ASO in the state of Indiana, we provide services to more than 25% of all individuals living with HIV in the state. Damien Center offers HIV+ patients a comprehensive approach to wellness. Linkage to Care connects clients with the care they need and helps them overcome barriers to care – such as transportation or insurance – while our other services provide HIV resources and support. We also provide food, housing, emergency, and legal assistance.
