Ways to help | GroundCorp ProgramWork Opportunity for Out-Of-School Youth 16-24 Years Old:The GroundCorp program offers part-time paid positions for out-of-school youth, ages 16-24, living in Indianapolis, IN.The GroundCorp program provides hands-on environmental improvement projects such as invasive plant removal, landscape installation, and landscape maintenance. GroundCorp crew members will participate in a program of un-paid life skills training and adult education and must complete the program in order to maintain employment.GroundCorp crew members will do the following:+ Participate in life skills workshops, job preparedness training, and adult education; + Work 20 hours per week; + Earn $10 per hour with workers compensation insurance provided; + Participate in classroom-based and outdoor training(s).Employment InquiryPlease contact Darren Boyd via email at [email protected] if you have any questions.APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ALL YEAR |
