Visit Website Volunteer Page Our mission | Our mission is to put smiles on the faces of Indiana children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by making a dream come true. Our children have had to fight battles that children should not have to fight. These children go through treatments that make them sick for days on end. They forget what childhood is all about. Granting their wish gives these brave children something to look forward to and helps build strength and hope for their futures. |

How you help | There are so many ways to get involved and share in the wonder of a wish. Are you a go-getter who likes to interact with businesses? Join one of our event committees and help plan a fundraiser with us. Are you a people person? Volunteer at an event- we have opportunities from greeting attendees to working the auction room. Are you artistic? Join us for a sign party and design posters to send off our families. Are you an enthusiastic, energetic person? Come help us send off our wish families with good cheer at the airport. The volunteer opportunities abound and we would love to have you be a part of our extended wish family. |

About us | Indiana Children’s Wish Fund is a single-entity statewide wish-granting organization, that grants wishes to Indiana children, ages 3-18, who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or terminal illness. We are not affiliated with any other wish-granting organizations. Indiana Children’s Wish Fund was founded in August of 1984 and we are entering our 36th year of wish granting. Wish Children are referred to our organization by their doctors, nurses, social workers, parents, etc. Our most requested wishes are trips to Disney World for the whole family, along with meeting celebrities, shopping sprees and family vacations. Some of our unique wishes have been to meet former Presidents, the Pope, working with Mother Theresa and bringing a Grandmother to the United States from Ethiopia to visit her grandchild. We have even had a wish child who ended up being an extra on the set of a Tom Cruise movie! |
