How you help | We are a non-profit organization that loves our community and has a mission to bring art to ALL. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us work toward our mission every day. |

About us | First founded in 1934 as the Works Progress Administration program, the Art Center has evolved from serving artists during the Great Depression to offering hundreds of art classes, over fifty art exhibitions across six art galleries, an outreach program that takes art to underserved communities, and the annual OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair. As a nonprofit, the Art Center relies heavily on donations to support its mission to inspire creative expression in people of all ages. Since its move to its current home in 1976, the Art Center sits along the banks of the White River in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. |
