| Ways to help | Become a TutorOur volunteer tutors provide focused support to school-aged children experiencing homelessness or housing instability in schools, shelters, and community centers throughout Indianapolis. Daytime and evening opportunities are available with multiple locations. All backgrounds and education levels encouraged. We provide the training! One hour a week can change a child's life. We are now accepting volunteer tutor applications for the 2023-2024 school year. |

| About us | Founded in 2001, Brightlane Learning, formerly known as School on Wheels, is dedicated to providing tutoring and academic support services to school-aged children impacted by homelessness or housing instability. We bring services to schools, shelters, and transitional living facilities across Indianapolis serving children in grades K-12. Our programs help hundreds of students each year have the academic and emotional support they need to maintain and improve their grades, focus on critical skill building, achieve grade promotion, and build a strong academic foundation and illuminate their futures. |
